Streatfield Flooring is a family-owned flooring business based in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast. Owner Clive Streatfield has been supplying and installing floors since 1994, and the business still runs the way it started: the person who measures and quotes your job is the person who installs it.

That matters more than it sounds. When the installer quotes the job, nothing gets lost in a handover between a salesperson and a subcontractor. The price allows for the subfloor preparation your home actually needs, the product suits the room, and the finish is what you were promised.

Meet Clive Streatfield

Clive Streatfield owns and runs Streatfield Flooring. He has been measuring, quoting and laying floors since 1994, covering carpet, vinyl plank, hybrid, timber and commercial flooring. Customers deal with Clive from the first phone call to the final trim, and many customers come back to us for their next job.

That hands-on experience shapes the advice we give: which products actually hold up in Gold Coast humidity and sun, what a subfloor needs before a new floor goes down, and how to meet body corporate acoustic rules in apartments.

We bring the showroom to you

Instead of asking you to drive to a showroom, we bring carpet, hybrid, vinyl plank and timber samples to your home. You see each option in your own light, against your walls, cabinetry and furniture, and we measure every room while we are there. You get a fixed written quote with no obligation.

What we install

We supply and install carpet, waterproof hybrid flooring, vinyl plank, engineered and solid timber, and commercial flooring for offices, retail, strata and body corporate buildings. We remove and dispose of old flooring, prepare and level subfloors, and finish with trims, nosings and skirting so the job is complete.

How we work

Every job follows the same simple process. You call or send an enquiry, we book a time that suits you, and we bring samples to your home to measure and talk through options. You receive a fixed written quote with preparation, removal and trims included, so the price you approve is the price you pay. On installation day we protect your home, lay the floor properly, clean up and walk you through care. If anything is not right afterwards, you call the person who did the work.
