Flooring Installers in Merrimac

Flooring for Merrimac homes

Merrimac is made up mainly of 1980s and 1990s brick homes on flat blocks, many with original carpet and tiled living areas. Being close to the golf course and the canals, some homes have higher humidity near the water. We check slabs for level and plan the floor to run cleanly through renovated spaces. Many Merrimac homes have had the kitchen and bathrooms updated while the original floor tiles remain in the living areas. Removing old tiles adds time and cost, so at the measure we check whether a hybrid floor can go over them instead, and how the new floor height will meet doors, kitchen kickboards and sliding door tracks.

What we recommend in Merrimac

Hybrid suits Merrimac living areas because it is waterproof and can often float over existing tiles. Bedrooms suit solution-dyed nylon or wool-blend carpet. For owners who prefer the real thing, engineered timber adds warmth to formal living and dining rooms. For families with pets, a hybrid with a strong wear layer and a matt finish shows fewer scratches than a high-gloss floor, and textured carpet hides wear in busy hallways.

Typical Merrimac jobs

Typical Merrimac jobs include floating hybrid over original tiles, whole-home carpet replacements, and flooring for renovated kitchens and family rooms. Many customers are near Merrimac State High School and the golf course, and we fit measures around work and school hours.
